MIT Global Studies and Languages administers two biannual, graduate exams: the English Evaluation Test (EET) and the Graduate Language Exam (GLE)

English Evaluation Test

The English Evaluation Test (EET) occurrs prior to the start of the Fall and Spring Semesters (end of August and January) and is a requirement for all incoming international Graduate Students.

 

Graduate Language Exam

The Graduate Language Exam (GLE) occurs once per semester (November and April) for graduate students in departments that require proficiency in a foreign language for a Ph.D. or Master's Degree.
