Free screening of the French comedy OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies. This hilarious spoof on spy movies stars Jean Dujardin, who went on to win an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in The Artist. In French, with English subtitles. Light entertainment begins at 7 pm, with the movie starting at 7:30 pm.  Rain location: Stata Center Kirsch Auditorium (32-123).

 

Persepolis

Free screening of the French-language animated drama Persepolis. The highly regarded film, called "whimsical and daring" by the New York Times, is the poignant coming-of-age story of a precocious and outspoken Iranian girl. In French, with English subtitles. Light entertainment begins at 7 pm, with the movie starting at 7:30 pm. Rain location: 34-101 (in the EG&G Education Center).
