The Korean language program will celebrate the 576th Hangul Day on October 11. Hangul is the Korean writing system created by King Sejong the Great and was promulgated to the public on October 9, 1453.

All students in Korean language classes (both current and former students) as well as students who are interested in Korean language or culture are more than welcome to join the festivities, including making Kimbap and enjoying Korean calligraphy.

This event will not only allow students to meet fellow students who are taking or have taken Korean language classes, but it also encourages students’ interest in Korean language, culture, and history.

This event is funded by MISTI-Korea.
