Bio

Shigeru Miyagawa has been Professor of Linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 1991. He is also the holder of the chair, Kochi Prefecture -John Manjiro Professor of Japanese Language and Culture. Since March 2014, he splits his position between MIT and the University of Tokyo, where he is Project Professor and Director of Online Education.
