Bio

Sabine Levet is Senior Lecturer in French in the Global Studies and Languages section at MIT. She has also taught at Brandeis University and Middlebury Summer School. She has written articles and chapters about the development of tools for cross-cultural understanding and has given talks and workshops on intercultural communication, the teaching of culture, and the use of technology in language teaching and learning.

She collaborated on the interactive documentary Dans un quartier de Paris, published by Yale University Press (1999) and the multimedia fiction A la Rencontre de Philippe (teacher's guide) published by CLE International (2006). She is one of the original developers and current Project Director of Cultura, which received a special recognition from the American Council on Education in 2010. She is also the author of the project Tramway and Vélib: changing urban space in Paris.
